Purpose of Position

The Department of Management within the Haile/US Bank College of Business at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management. We are looking for a colleague who is committed to student success and who is committed to supporting our new undergraduate major in Global Supply Chain Management.

Northern Kentucky University is located in the suburbs of the Greater Cincinnati area – just seven miles south of downtown Cincinnati. The metro area is home to a superb mix of cultural, entertainment, and commercial benefits and has a population of 2.2 million residents. NKU serves approximately 15,000 students, and is a member of the NCAA’s Division I Horizon League.

The Haile/U.S. Bank College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and serves approximately 2,100 students, offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Primary Responsibilities

The candidate should be prepared to teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management and related areas.

Demonstrated commitment to intercultural competence, inclusive excellence, and initiatives that advance the success of underrepresented groups.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management/Operations Management or a closely related field from an AACSB recognized program.

The candidate must have prior teaching or business experience necessary to teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, and related areas.

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and quality academic research.
