Purpose of Position

The Haile/US Bank College of Business at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track Marketing faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, to start in August, 2018.

Primary Responsibilities

Preferred teaching/research interest areas include Digital Marketing, IMC, Marketing Strategy, International Marketing, and/or Marketing Analytics. Other areas may be considered for exceptional candidates. Industry experience and the ability to teach MBA-level courses is a plus.


Preferred candidates will have a relevant Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited school at the time of appointment. ABDs with evidence of imminent completion will also be considered. Candidates should value practical, applied, and online teaching methods and demonstrate innovative approaches to new concepts and courses, as well as traditional ones. The ideal candidate must have the capacity to publish in peer reviewed journals that meet the expectations set forth by the College, and be committed to engaged service activity.

Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Faculty representatives will conduct preliminary interviews at the 2017 AMA Summer Educators’ Conference in San Francisco, CA.
