Flexible hours within Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. time frame, based on class schedule and department needs.

Job Description

This position provides support to the Human Resources Department.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to general office duties such as:

• Front desk/reception greeting faculty, staff, and community members who visit the office.
• Answer multi-line telephone
• Stamping and scanning of PARs
• Filing, copying, typing, sorting, and compiling various hard copy packets of information
• Routing mail, emails, and faxes
• Running errands on campus
• Word processing and/or data entry as required
• Assist With Special Projects
• Assist with room reservations using Astra (room reservation system)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required qualifications include professional demeanor, must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong writing skills, ability to think critically and analytically, good organizational and time management skills, good attention to detail (very important), proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, the ability to work independently, a positive attitude, good academic standing, and a willingness to learn.

Desired qualifications:

- working knowledge with web design.
- working knowledge with Qualtrics online survey software.
- working knowledge with SAP.
- available to work Summer 2017, Fall 2017 and possibly Spring 2018.
