Purpose of Position

The Department of Political Science, Criminal Justice, and Organizational Leadership at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for a temporary full time lecturer position (one semester appointment in spring of 2017) to teach in the Master of Program Administration program.

Primary Responsibilities

The lecturer will teach four courses in the MPA program.

The department is the largest department on campus with 31 full-time faculty members and approximately 1,600 students. We offer bachelor degrees in criminal justice, international studies, political science and organizational leadership and an accredited master degree in public administration.


The individual best suited to fill this position would have the following qualities:

(1) Ph.D., ABD or a Master’s degree in Public Administration, Leadership, Political Science, or a related discipline;

(2) Areas of specialization are open but we are particularly interested in faculty members with teaching interests in public policy, organizational theory, and executive management.
